TYC Brings Circular Materials into Everyday Life at the “Taiwan Terroir Experience” Corporate Day

From recycled-plastic building materials to home applications, TYC explores new possibilities through cross-industry collaboration.

On October 5, 2026, TYC Environmental Technology participated in the “Taiwan Terroir Experience” Corporate Day, jointly organized by 璐露野生活 and 野伙食驗室 at Taipei Hope Farmers’ Market. The event brought together partners from various industries to share practical applications of circular materials, local revitalization, and sustainable design.

Centered on a shared table celebrating Taiwan’s local food and culture, the event combined cooking demonstrations, curated product displays, networking, and talks. It gave participants an opportunity to see and experience how recycled materials can become products for everyday use.

TEXWOOD®: Turning Recycled Plastic into Building Materials

During the event, Ms. Du Nian-ting of the Institute for Information Industry introduced TYC’s TEXWOOD® recycled-plastic building materials. Made without wood flour, TEXWOOD® uses a single-material design to support future recycling and reprocessing.

By turning recovered plastic into functional building materials, TYC demonstrated how material recovery can connect with practical end-use applications.

Expanding Applications Through Cross-Industry Collaboration

Partners including SHUTER, the Footwear & Recreation Technology Research Institute, and 木酢達人 also shared examples involving oyster-shell reuse, footwear manufacturing and local revitalization, and the reuse of tree-pruning residues.

Through cross-industry exchange and product design, TYC continues to explore opportunities for recycled plastics in everyday products, home applications, and building materials.

Experiencing Circular Design Firsthand

The venue featured home and lifestyle products alongside plants, display furniture, and a locally inspired dining setting, allowing participants to experience the connection between circular design and everyday living.

TYC believes that advancing a circular economy requires functional end-use applications with market value. The company will continue connecting material technology, product design, and industry partners to bring recovered resources into more everyday settings.
